Superbly tired

OMG. My eyes are already half-closed now. I want to sleep so badly now. Sobs. But i gotta wait for a friend to send me some  stuff before i could go to bed. Was busy whole day. Class till 1pm, was at Friends Phototaking booth at hostel till 4.15pm, then went to Street Mall to get the Friends Photo Poster printed but couldn’t find any so i went back to Cyberia to print instead. Weather was blazing hot. Goodness! Finally got home at 5pm. Rested, checked mails, organized the papers in my files and did notes for TDE till 7.30pm. Had instant noodle for dinner and looked for bands to perform with SY for my Prom Night event.

I was already feeling sleepy in the noon. I couldn’t stand any longer, i took a short nap then. Woke up and took a shower. Then, searched some available themes that can be used for my Prom event, and sent to my Director. I was supposed to write some Japanese notes for tomorrow’s class, but i’m too lazy and tired to do anything now. Bahhhh…. i want to go to bed!!!! =(

P/S: Am going back Kajang tomorrow. =)

Movies ‘n Meetings

Argh. Don’t feel good since this morning when i woke up till now. Stomach has been playing pranks on me. Stomach ache, stomach unwell and kept feeling wanna-vomit. =(

Again, i’m having meetings for both my Uni’s yearbook-making (Sigma 08/09) and the planning for April 09’s MMU Cyber Prom Night. What surprises me is that both meetings always fall on the same day, like last week’s as well. Haha. Today’s better as one is at 6pm and another is at 8pm. Hope i can attend both of it on time. =)

I guess this semester will be busy with studies, as well as curriculum activities. I hope it’ll be more fun than stress though. Haha. Although i’m worried on whether i can manage all in proper order or not, i’ll still try to do my best, without affecting my studies of course.

So far, for Sigma 08/09, Friend’s Phototaking and Grad’s Phototaking are starting by tomorrow and it will be on throughout the entire semester. For Prom Night, things are still in progress on structuring the organization’s hierarchy. Who to be put in the divisions are giving me slight headache as i have no idea how to place the whole big bunch of friends of mine into those available divisions. I’ll get YM, the director’s help instead. Haha.

Argh. Today’s Monday. Classes are only till 1pm. Now, i’m sitting in my room doing nothing. TL and her bro, YR already fled to Sunway to watch movies. =( IGOR i think. I wanna watch too!! Sobs. I think that movie should be cute too. Haha. =)

I actually don’t know what this movie is about. Just saw the trailer of it when i was in the cinema, watching Madagascar 2: Escape to Africa. Haha.

Madagascar 2. I’ve been wanting to watch this since weeks ago, but situations just wouldn’t allow me to. Then, i finally can watch it last Monday @ GSC, Alamanda. But after the movie ended, i did not feel much satisfaction out of it. Maybe the 1st one is better than the 2nd one. Only some parts are funny.

In Madagascar, my favourite character was the penguins, ‘cos it looks super cute and funny. Now, in Madagascar 2, my favourite character is the little i-don’t-know-which-animal called Mort. I think it’s squirrel, or maybe it’s not. Haha.

Isn’t ‘lil Mort cute and lovely? Haha!!

P/S: I feel lazy. I smell laziness all around me. =P

Maybank Scholarship Program 2008

For about a few months ago, i applied the Maybank’s Scholarship Award that they’re offering to the public. Then on my mid-term break last semester, i got a call from someone in Maybank, notifying me that i got shortlisted and asked me to attend the interview on the day after the next day. I kinda got surprised after so much of scholarships i’ve applied and did not get any reply after that.

All i need to get ready for the interview was all my certificates, and some knowledge about Maybank. So, i need to get my ass back to Cyber to get all my certs because it’s all there. Dad was supposed to take me to Cyber but later on, Aaron offered to give me that ride.

Gosh. I was suppose to start my day studying for mid-terms, but it got replaced with finding information about Maybank. I was super nervous on the night before, and also on the morning of the interview. Never been to such formal interview before and i’m afraid of getting brain-freeze. Then, the interview went okay after 20 minutes.

But then, people around me (dad, mum, sisters, aunts) told me not to get the scholarship because they’re only giving away 7k per annum, with a laptop for educational use. Together with it is a bond of minimum 4 years with Maybank. All of them thought that it’s not worth taking, after considering the amount given to me (which is only 14k ‘cos i’m already a year 2 student and i’ll graduate in 2 years time) with the amount of years that i might be bonded with them.

I did not really think much about that because even me myself is not sure whether am i gonna get accepted for the scholarship or not, since i never had any luck with ALL the scholarships i applied since 2 years ago. About 3 months later, during my semester break, i got another call from Maybank again at 11pm, telling me that i got accepted for the scholarship. Wow. At that moment, i sorta got numb.

Yet again, parents asked me not to accept. Same reasons again. But i’m gonna be contacted again the following regarding some information more on the scholarship. Two weeks later, i got an email from them. From that email, i got to know that i’ll have to attend a briefing on the agreement of the scholarship, some orientation camp in the Adeline’s Resthouse in Gopeng, Perak, and also an award ceremony after the orientation camp in KL. I also have to RSVP the total of people that will be attending my award ceremony on the week itself.

I got more and more confused from then on. I have to make decision fast as i need to confirm the attendance for the award ceremony. At first, i decided not to take and i thought that this will be over, as i do not need to think about this scholarship anymore. But, when my classmate (whom got accepted for the scholarship also) told me that the bond can be escaped by repaying back the total amount given, or even that i can quit halfway before my bond expires and only repay them the amount of the non-working days, i went back to my thinking period again.

Since that i won’t lose anything by accepting this scholarship (even sis, cousins and parents says so), therefore i decided to accept it finally. It was finally my last and final decision. I then mailed Maybank, informing them that both my parents will be attending my award ceremony and that’s it. I’m going to get the 7k per year with a latest Acer laptop cost RM4k.

So, this Friday, i’ll be skipping my Japanese and Diff. Equation class for the Maybank’s briefing+orientation camp. Then, I’ll be skipping my Diff. Equation class again on Monday for my Award ceremony. Sigh. I’m just so so lazy to attend such orientation camp. I like camping in fact, but not these kind. I like going camping with a bunch of friends of mine, having fun together. Haha.

In this camp, i’ll need to have outdoor activities which i don’t mind, and there’s some group work, with presentations as well. Ergh. That’s the part i do not like in this camp. But, what to do. This is compulsory for everyone to attend. =( Hope i’ll enjoy anyway. Haha.

That’s all about the scholarship that is offered to me, which i’m talking about in my previous post. Will post an update about this after my award ceremony, hoping there’s pictures for readers out there! =) Ta’

Updates

I suddenly feel lost on how to start writing this. Too many things to update till it made me feel there’s nothing to write. Gosh. Sowee!!

Maybe i’m gonna keep things short. Updates dad’s birthday celebration @ Hee Lai Ton, Kajang on 4th October ‘08. Dinner was awesome. Food was alright, crowd was amazing. Took lotsa pictures which it’s very unusual for my dad as he dislikes taking pictures. Haha!!

Later on, i went busy with my final exams. It’s an unforgettable ones, seriously. After that, went up to Genting for part-time job. For the first week, it went well. The only outing i went was to online over in Starbucks. Got myself a drink and a slice of cake.

Second week of work i fell sick like super sick!! Mum took care of me a lot. Buying bread, cooking porridge, getting medicine, blah… She was working midnight at that time as well, which makes her waking up to help me instead of sleeping in the noon. =( I really appreciate that. All i do that week is lay down on the couch and watch drama 24 hours a day. I got to skip work for 2 days because i think i couldn’t handle myself during work. I felt like dying while working on the 1st day on that week, even it’s a non-smoking place. So, i don’t know how i’ll be if i’m in a smoking area. Therefore i decided to stop working for 2 days. I recovered after that 2 days and resumed to work as usual.

On the third week, it was the most happening week of mine. Got my results, met up with lotsa friends surprisingly (Aaron, Muharram, Yi Chong, Chai Wuey & bf, and Gary & friends). Results was better than what i’ve expected. Met up with Aaron, Muharram and Yi Chong was fun. I haven’t seen three of them for ages, especially for Yi Chong. I think for about 2 years!!

We did had a great night. Spending 3 hours in Burger King, chatting all over like we own the place, laughing all the way like no one’s around. Haha. But i only got to meet them once. The other time, i couldn’t make it cos i gotta wakie early the next morning for work. Then, the next day, i met my roomie.

She came up with bf for a 2 night trip/holiday. Met up for supper with her at Hou Mei, First World. Catch up some stuff with her and we said goodbye around 1.5 hours later. She’s leaving back home in the morning so i didn’t have any chance to meet up with her again. On Saturday which was my second last day in Genting, i met up with Gary. I walked on my own to First World to shop first, before meeting him up. Got my sister’s Mirotic Album by a Korean band called DBSK, and shopped for a top and 2 shorts at F.O.S. Haha.

Had Starbucks session with Gary. It was my treat as i’ve promised him, if he keeps his promise to visit me in Genting. He already ffk-ed me for so many freaking times!! Had only quite a short session, as we gotta meet up with his friends cos they wants to sneak into the casino but aren’t sure where are all the entrances are. Haha. The end, they still failed to get in. *pity*

Finally, i left Genting on Sunday. Went back to Cyber on Monday. Sigh. Hate it whenever this happens. Sobs.

Okay, done with updates on my life and what’s happening around me. Time to talk about crazy stuffs bout me and my lil sister on music albums. We got ourselves 3 albums this month itself. I got this from SINGAPORE cos the Malaysia’s music stores pisses me off totally. Plus, i even got this cheaper than the one in Malaysia. I got this for only SGD30. Imagine that. Even better, it comes with an extra deck of Jay’s Playing Cards. I don’t think Malaysia’s includes this. Wahaha. And i just love the Rubik’s Cube. It’s much more challenging than solving the normal one with 6 bold colours. You gotta make sure those faces are in the proper direction, the pictures are all in order, like exactly how you solve a puzzle. =X The album even includes stickers (4th pic) of himself. OMFG. Just too bad that i failed to get his poster. Sobs.

Kristin went to his promo visit in Pavillion, KL last few weeks. OMG, she is super crazy about him. Seriously. Her friends as well. Phew. Her friend got her his album as her birthday gift. And, thanks to her, i started to listen to his songs as well. Yeah, really swt!!! =.=”

On the 11th Nov 2008, it was my roomie’s and coursemate’s birthday. We sort of celebrated it over in Sri Kembangan. Bought a cake and had supper in KFC. Couldn’t celebrate much because most of them were busy preparing for their supplementary exams in the very own week itself. =X Being born on the same day, and getting to know each other, it’s a great discovery. I wonder who borns on the same day as i do?? Hmm…

And finally, i had a haircut after 2 months i think. Leanne straightened her hair. Waited for her for hours but went back before her the end cos i couldn’t stand any longer doing nothing over there. But then again, i’m glad as i found out kinda lot of stuff on the stylists there. Wahaha. YP would understand what i’m trying to mean. =P

Today, it’s my mum’s birthday celebration. Her birthday was yesterday, 14th Nov. It was my housemate’s birthday as well. We had just a simple dinner at Hee Lai Ton Restaurant again, the same place we went for dinner during my dad’s birthday celebration. We wanted to have a western dinner instead of a Chinese one, just for a change, but dad nagged, saying that KL will be jammed up, and afraid that the restaurant is full cos it’s a Saturday. So, we ended up at Hee Lai Ton instead. Sobs.

Besides, i would like to wish a Happy 20th Birthday to one of my coursemate, Kuan Lye. =) Hope she’ll have a great one after going through so much this year. =)

And oh ya, i finally decided to accept the Maybank Scholarship that was offered to me. And, next 2 weeks, i’ll have to attend a camp in Adeline’s Resthouse, Gopeng, Perak. I’m just so so lazy to go man!! Argh!! =( About the scholarship, i might talk more about it next time. This post is too much for anyone to read. Haha. Sorry.

And i really want to go to bed already. This post took me about 3 hours, thanks to the time taken to upload those pics into the post. Maybe it’s cos of my 5MP camera phone. Sigh. I  even almost fell asleep while waiting. Wahaha. Well then, good night! =)
